FORCED LABOR AND CHILD LABOR PREVENTION PROCEDURE

Solar APEX accepts and commits to comply with the ‘Prevention of Forced Labor and Voluntary Overtime’ policy specified in the standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO), Labor Law No. 4857, and the social compliance rules of the national and international brands we supply.

Our goal is to provide a decent working environment for all our employees. Any acts of forced labor committed by any employee, manager, customer, guest, supplier of goods and services, or non-employee of our company are unacceptable. Forced or compulsory labor refers to any work or service that a person is compelled to perform under pressure, violence, or threat of punishment, and not voluntarily. The fact that employees are paid wages or other compensation does not mean that the work can be performed in a forced or compulsory manner. The free offering of labor as a right and the freedom of employees to terminate their employment contract within a reasonable time frame or with prior notice within the legal framework are guaranteed. Forced labor is a violation of fundamental human rights. Examples of situations that may constitute forced labor are explained below:

Debt bondage,
Creating situations where a person has no right to refuse work,
Situations where prisoners or convicts are employed without a court order to the contrary and without the special supervision of a public authority.

Our company does not tolerate child labor, youth labor, or forced labor, nor does it tolerate it in its suppliers.
Young workers or interns working for our suppliers must be registered in accordance with local law.
If practices contrary to the principles and standards of these Procedures are encountered, the business relationship with the supplier will be terminated.
