Huawei has added a new one to its investments and collaborations in the field of solar energy, which it has increased in recent years. Huawei and SolarAPEX have signed a new product supply contract in this context. Of the 400 MW of products to be supplied under the contract, 140 MW will be used in the world’s largest rooftop solar power plant project launched by Tosyalı Holding in March, while the remaining 260 MW units are planned to be used in SolarAPEX’s rooftop and field-applied SPP projects across Turkey.
Jing Li: We will continue to work for a clean and bright world of the future
Huawei Turkey General Manager Jing Li said: “Together with the valuable brands of our country, we will continue to work for the clean and bright world of the future and create value for Turkey. We will continue to contribute to the ecosystem in the best way possible by continuing important solar energy industry collaborations in our country, especially Huawei.”
Fatih Doğan, General Manager of SolarAPEX, said, “With our experience in solar energy system installations, we continue our cooperation with important companies in Turkey and the world. We believe that this new 400 MW contract, which we signed today, will be one of the important success stories in the industry with the contributions of Huawei technology. I would like to thank Huawei Turkey for their support and valuable partnership in the project.”
The Huawei SUN2000-100KTL-M1 Pro product, which will be used in the project, provides full protection against elements that can cause heat-related accidents (DC ARC) without the need for additional equipment, thereby increasing the efficiency of the project.
Within the scope of the contract, Huawei also provides the “I-V Curve License”, which enables online control for solar panels. In this way, the performance and safety risks of the solar panels can be monitored remotely, without the need for mechanical intervention and sending personnel to the site.
