COOPERATION WITH HUAWEI

The first phase of the 85-megawatt project will be completed in 7 months and the entire project will be completed in April 2023. The solution partners of the Tosyalı Holding project are SolarAPEX, one of the leading institutions in the field of solar power plant turnkey installation services, and Huawei, the largest global smart product supplier in the field of solar energy. Tosyalı Holding Chairman Fuat Tosyalı stated that sustainability is the most important agenda item of Tosyalı Holding.

Stating that the rooftop SPP projects will not only be the world’s largest in its field, but will also enable the world’s cleanest steel production as it prevents 116 million 525 thousand kilograms of carbon emissions annually, Tosyalı said, “As Tosyalı Holding, our goal is to bring fossil fuel use to the lowest possible level. In the coming period, as a first in Turkey, we will start using hydrogen instead of fossil fuels in iron and steel production. We will use some of the electricity we will obtain from the SPP we have established for these hydrogen-oriented processes.”
